Amazon Robotics is located in the greater Boston area, the epicenter of robotics innovation. Our diverse team of engineers come from all over the world to design, test and build our dynamic fleet of robots and mechatronic systems. Having our offices, labs, test floors and factories all co-located means that we can design the hardware, write the code, test, build and watch it all come to life. This allows us to innovate quickly and on limitless ideas. Current advancements are underway in autonomous movement and mobility, artificial intelligence and machine learning, manipulation, simulation, robotic management software, predictive analytics, and much more.
As a Manager, Network Development, you will lead a team of network engineers responsible for 10+ networks at Amazon Robotics buildings in the Boston area. You will support manufacturing, product development, quality assurance, and more.
Key job responsibilities
•Actively support and foster a culture of inclusion.
•Lead a team of 5-8 engineers responsible for network infrastructure across all AR buildings worldwide.
•Manage large scale infrastructure projects, including new building construction, infrastructure refresh projects, and automation.
•Work with partner IT organizations with Amazon to deliver best-of-breed networks in a highly complex space.
•Contribute to AR overall business goals by supporting organization-wide key projects, including product prototypying and network design.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor's degree or 4+ years relevant professional, industry or military experience.
•10+ years of relevant network engineering experience
•5+ years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations.
•Experience in IT procurement, budgeting, and forecasting.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or technical discipline.
•Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
•3+ years infrastructure automation experience.
•Effective customer and stakeholder management, including the ability to discover requirements, suggest alternatives, and implement on tight deadlines to support AR product development.
•Established time management skills with the ability to direct multiple projects simultaneously.
•Experience in the application of network design, including knowledge of major routing protocols, topology design, network hardware, device configuration, Cisco ISE/DNAC, and traffic engineering.
•Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
