The Role:

As the Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for supporting stakeholders across the organization including Sales, Operations, Engineering, Finance and Customer Experience to enable data-driven decision making.

Reporting to the Analytics VP, you will guide analytics projects from discovery to solution and help us raise the bar for how we apply data to critical business decisions. You will be part of the Analytics team within the Finance Org at Cart.com which is a centralized team that is responsible for all things data & analytics for Cart.com.

The Analytics Manager is responsible for managing the team responsbile for setting up & maintaining the backend SQL process and procedures related to the data feeding our data science solutions, building well designed product ready visualizations that help optimize our brands’ businesses, stress testing the strength of our existing data science solutions’ ability to solve problems & bring about insights to our brand’s businesses, and prototyping data science solutions that can be transformed into products in the marketplace.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own enterprise analytics for all internal operations of Cart.com - includes vertical such as but not limited to finance, sales, corporate marketing, customer success, fulfillment operations, investor relations, etcBuild partnerships throughout the organization to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for business impact through data & analytics

  • Partner with IT and Data Engineering teams to identify and source required data.

  • Apply analytical skills in dealing with business projects with loosely defined requirements.

  • Establish and measure standardized KPI’s as well as create new KPIs.

  • Perform descriptive analysis and deep dive investigations to uncover insights.

  • Manage and maintain the complete delivery cycle of analytics deliverables, including integrated dashboards and ad-hoc requests.

  • Conduct written and verbal presentations of complex findings and recommendations to varying audience groups to influence business decisions.

  • Empower the organization to use self-service data to take action in real time in their roles through ongoing education, approachable tools, and clean datasets.

  • This role will require some level of hands-on activity for the foreseeable future

Who You Are:

  • You possess quantitative skills with an ability to analyze data and make recommendations.

  • You are able to work effectively both independently and as a member of a cross functional team.

  • You have excellent communication skills in person and digitally, and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.

  • You possess strong troubleshooting experience, along with sound judgement to identify issues and escalate when appropriate.

  • You are capable of implementing solutions by understanding financial and operational aspects of the business.

What You’ve Done:

  • 6+ years of experience working with large datasets and building clear visualizations

  • At least 1 year of People Manager experience (Team Lead, Project Lead, etc.)

  • Intermediate SQL – Proven ability to write basic SQL functions (Snowflake Preferred)

  • Experience building data visualizations (Tableau Preferred)

Nice to Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Experience in Data Engineering and Automation Projects (R or Python)

  • Consulting experience delivering analytics for E-Commerce clients.

  • Warehouse & inventory management Analytics Experience
