The role
As a team we are together responsible for providing a modern, efficient and secured environment supporting our employees as we believe that our employees are our greatest strength. We are looking for someone with strong understanding of the management, soft and people’s skills, excellent communication, leadership and planning skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and technical guidance to a team of engineers working on healthcare-related projects.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and objectives.
- Drive the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality healthcare solutions.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Lead by example in code quality, best practices, and adherence to industry standards.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring projects stay on track and meet established goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with overall business objectives.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in healthcare technology and engineering practices.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity and problem-solving.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 12-15 years of progressive experience in software engineering (esp in Java platform), with a focus on the healthcare domain.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing engineering teams, including performance management and professional development.
- Experience leading Retail / Online retail transformation programs in any industry
- Experience in working in a headless platform implementation would be a plus (like SFCC with headless)
- Strong understanding of healthcare industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, FDA regulations).
- Expertise in software development methodologies, tools, and technologies relevant to healthcare applications.
- Experience with agile development practices and tools to manage projects effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Results-driven mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality, impactful solutions.
