Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Product Manager to lead and manage our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) product suite. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes, strong vendor management skills, integration expertise, and a strategic mindset for driving process automation initiatives. This person will play a pivotal role in optimizing our RCM operations, enhancing vendor relationships, and driving innovation through technology solutions. This role will report to the Chief Technology Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
RCM Product Suite Management:
- Lead the strategic planning, development, and enhancement of our RCM product suite, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and clinicians, to define product requirements and features that optimize revenue cycle operations.
- Conduct regular analysis of market trends, competitor offerings, and industry regulations to inform product roadmap decisions.
Vendor Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and manage relationships with vendors providing RCM solutions, including negotiation of contracts, monitoring performance, and ensuring vendor compliance with service level agreements.
- Collaborate with vendor representatives to understand product capabilities, provide feedback, and drive improvements to meet the clinic's evolving needs.
Integration with Identity Management and Data Warehouse:
- Oversee the integration of RCM solutions with identity management solution (Okta) and data warehouse (Databricks) to ensure seamless data flow, security, and accessibility.
- Work closely with IT and security teams to ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards.
Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Strategy:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for leveraging robotic process automation to streamline and optimize RCM processes.
- Collaborate with process owners and automation experts to identify opportunities for RPA implementation, define automation workflows, and measure performance outcomes.
Product Roadmap and Prioritization:
- Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap for RCM, aligning with the clinic's strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, user feedback, and market trends.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilize data analytics and key performance indicators to evaluate product performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive data-backed decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Foster strong relationships and effective communication across departments, including Finance, IT, Clinical Operations, and Compliance, to ensure cohesive product development and deployment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (7+ years) in product management or product ownership roles, preferably in healthcare RCM.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes, regulations, and industry trends.
- Strong vendor management skills, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and relationship building.
- Experience with integrations, particularly with identity management solutions (Okta) and data warehouses (Databricks).
- Proficiency in robotic process automation (RPA) concepts and strategies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align product strategies with business goals.
- Data-driven mindset, comfortable using data analytics to inform decisions.
- Project management skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
