The Job...

We are seeking an individual that can draw on analytical and collections experience to develop a strategy and improve our impact on Snap’s financials. In this role, you will have the opportunity to redefine Snap’s collections operation. You will work with cross-functional teams in a high growth environment. The ideal candidate will be able to measure, segment, predict and strategize to improve

• Lead the development and implementation of strategy with the Sr. Director of Collections, for all stages of the collection process
• Improve and design reporting/analysis to monitor collections and track the operation’s impact on the financials
• Implement new strategies that have been thoroughly tested (A/B testing)
• Provide analytical support for incentive programs to ensure that they align agent motivation with desired results
• Recommend strategy based on business needs and opportunities
• Direct and collaborate with development teams for building the necessary infrastructure

• Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience in an analytically rigorous role
• 3+ years of collections analytics experience
• Strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, and/or computer science
• Intermediate SQL skills
• Strong understanding of loan or lease portfolios
• Experienced people manager with demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally in team environments
• Strong influencing skills and ability to influence broader company agenda
• Strong knowledge of consumer finance and collections policies (FDCPA, TCPA, etc.)
• Experience with R, Python, or other statistical scripting languages a plus
