The Vice President of Client Strategy will be responsible for leading and managing the Sales Team in Singapore, driving revenue growth, and achieving sales targets. You will develop and implement sales strategies, manage key customer relationships, and collaborate with other departments and leaders to optimize sales performance. You will also be responsible for building a high-performing sales team, developing sales processes, and overseeing sales operations. This position will report directly to the VP of Sales, APAC.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue and sales growth targets in Singapore.
- Lead and manage the sales team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Foster a positive and high-performance sales culture that motivates and inspires the team to achieve sales goals.
- Build and maintain key customer relationships, identify sales opportunities, and negotiate sales contracts.
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, product, and finance to develop sales campaigns, promotions, and pricing strategies.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify sales opportunities and develop sales plans accordingly.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, provide regular sales forecasts and reports to the leadership team.
- Develop and maintain sales processes, tools, and systems to streamline sales operations and ensure sales efficiency.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities to anticipate market shifts and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote the company's products and services.
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Relevant experience in media and marketing domain preferred.
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably in the Singapore market.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Experience in building and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
- Strategic thinking and ability to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Ability to analyze market data, customer insights, and sales performance metrics to drive sales growth.
- Familiarity with the Singapore market and understanding of local business practices and culture.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in English (additional language skills in Mandarin or other local languages are a plus).
- Valid work authorization in Singapore.
