The Role
Love consulting, but tired of the travel? Looking for an opportunity to do something new, exciting, and with a clear value proposition for your customer? Veeva Systems is looking for a Managed Services Consultant in our MedTech team who has a passion for helping customers achieve their business vision.
Veeva Vault, our cloud-based content management, and collaboration solution are used by our customers to manage content-centric processes across key departments within a Medical Device or Diagnostics company, including clinical trials, quality management, manufacturing, regulatory, sales, and marketing. The Managed Services Consultant is a member of our Professional Services team who provides remote, ongoing, ad-hoc consulting services to our live MedTech R&D Vault customers. In this role, you can build long-term relationships and partner with customer administrators at MedTech companies to deliver solutions that meet their business needs.
This is a remote, full-time permanent role with Veeva. There is no work location requirement. This is a customer-facing, non-travel role. There may be travel opportunities at select times of the year for internal events.

What You'll Do

  • Provide Post-Go Live administrative support for multiple customers utilizing Vault solutions (Clinical, Regulatory, and Quality application suites)
  • Solution and configure Vault applications to meet customer business needs
  • Bulk import/export of content & data
  • Deliver ad hoc training of customer users and administrators
  • Analyze and deploy new product features
  • Maintain the customer’s Vault environment landscape

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience implementing, administering, configuring, and/or supporting regulated systems or data-driven software solutions
  • Customer service or consulting experience
  • Ability to quickly understand customer requirements and articulate potential solutions
  • Experience fulfilling customer needs and managing expectations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to switch tasks quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience

Nice to Have

  • Project management experience
  • Familiarity with MedTech Industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Understanding of compliance and computer systems validation requirements
  • Direct experience with Veeva Vault, document management solutions such as OpenText, Documentum/EMC, SharePoint, Liquent Insight, Trackwise, Medidata, NextDocs, eTMF/CTMS solutions, FirstDoc / FirstPoint, etc.
