When that happens, our agency partners build positive experiences for their clients and ultimately win more bids. As an Partner Account Manager, it is your role to acquire, grow, and retain agency partners within a book of business.
The Day To Day
Identify, source, and develop growth strategies to increase agency partners’ book of business for North America.
Drive and grow business objectives of opportunity generation and revenue.
Build multiple champions at agencies, including at the senior level, and understand their business strategy, organizational structure, and go-to-market focus. Become their trusted advisor and advocate for our partners’ needs internally.
Work closely with agency partners to ensure that we are selling the most effective way.
Building, maintaining, and driving opportunity pipeline through agency partner referrals.
Supporting existing agency partners and their end clients to include proposals, RFIs/RFPs, and training sessions.
Be responsible for your business and forecasting accurately through effective use of Salesforce.com.
Following WP Engine’s consultative sales process. Working closely cross functionally with other sales teams.
Regularly provide timely and accurate project/deal updates to management and executives.
Expertise and Passions
Minimum of three years of SaaS sales experience with a successful track record of exceeding assigned individual quota.
Experience selling through and with third parties, preferably agencies.
You're a natural on the phone. That means you enjoy a lot of sales activity via the telephone, as well as face to face meetings.
You understand that WP Engine is a specialized platform and it's not about the sale, it's about what's best for the customer and for WP Engine. Success means that we win when they do.
The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Extraordinary teammate. You have extensive experience working with multifaceted teams including Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales and enjoy reciprocally developing joint solutions on behalf of partnerships.
Self-starter. You’re willing to take action and able to thrive in a dynamic, constantly changing work environment.

On Target Earnings (OTE)
We believe that compensation should be reflective of the impact you have within the organization relative to the market value of your role. The cash compensation package above includes base pay plus on-target commission for employees in eligible roles. Sales incentive plans are uncapped with significant earning potential.
