The program is designed to provide you with a full experience so that you can fully envision a career with Zebra. You will be positioned for success with training, exposure to all parts of the business, social activities, a professional mentor relationship and development sessions to help you discover your own performance edge!
Please note, this is a Hybrid position that will require you to work in office a minimum of 3 days a week in Holtsville, New York.
Responsibilities
- Develop planning, organizational and leadership skills
- Increase technology knowledge and skills
- Develop team-based work proficiencies
- Develop interpersonal skills to connect with day-to-day business contacts through follow up activities
- magnetic noise measurements for the hearing aid devices
- development of the quality control protocol for the microphone evaluation station
- optimization and tuning of the neural network algorithms in different noise background
- benchmarking Zebra and competitor devices for the psycho acoustic sound perception and double talk improvement
- audio acoustic facial recognition for security enhancement
- analysis of audio acoustic databases for confidence
- reliability and technology trends, implementation of new innovative tuning methods to comply with specific customer requests (such as using device in non standard position)
- development of digital signal processing block chains to allow mutual device localization, room content detection
- Must have a status of a Freshman or above while in a undergraduate degree with an anticipated graduation date between December 2024-2027.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must reside within 50 miles of the primary work location - Holtsville, New York
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate degree program in Acoustic, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Solid experience with at least one programming language
- Good communication and writing skills
- Classical mechanics class passed with grade higher than B
- Hands on and soldering experience
- Passion for building things
- Analytical skills, understanding basic statistical techniques such as mean, variance, confidence interval.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
- Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow
- Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiences
- Ability to collaborate as part of a team
