Has in-depth knowledge of solution development through interactions with engineering and product teams. Works to understand the support requirements and assists in the development of support processes for new solutions. Troubleshoot a wide range of hardware and software issues including network devices to application, process issues, and server issues. This candidate must be able to sit onsite in Spartanburg/Greer, SC. Responsibilities
  • Established technical lead for one or more major enterprise accounts providing direct support for incidents and service restoration activities
  • Establishes supportrequirements for highly complex customer solution projects in a vertical market space. Prioritizes features to ensure solution is reviewed for support processes and delivers those to the appropriate business units
  • Completes handoff to support phase of complex customer solutions projects. Carries out all internal project handoff activities to support. Acts as a liaison for other Zebra Business Units when dealing with installed systems at assigned enterprise accounts
  • Develops and tests solution support monitoring for incoming and ongoing solutions
  • Provide advanced technical training and troubleshooting support to internal support teams and personnel
  • Reviews change control documentation, software upgrade project plans and firmware release timing
  • Expert in tuning, configuration of location solutions with focus on 24730 and Ultra-Wideband Technologies (6 Ghz)
  • Provide recommendations and solutions to problems using experience in multiple technical areas. Develops new approaches to solve unique problems
  • Direct involvement withdevelopment of new tools to aid in the analysis and solving of technical issues
  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Receives little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments. Must be comfortable reporting up to senior leadership on a weekly basis or service restoration efforts
  • May influence the activities of junior support resources including training, onsite personnel support, new support process development
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Linux server admin (2+ years experience)
  • Database server experience (Mondo, SQL)
  • Microsoft Server Administration experience
  • Understanding of DevOps
  • Cloud hosting and computing
  • Advanced Networking experience
  • Advanced RFID knowledge
Preferred
  • Experience in Transportation and Logistics, Retail, Manufacturing, or Healthcare preferred
