A Zebra SE is often involved in project management, solution design, and post sale customer critical support. Lastly, we leverage our long term SE customer relationships to retain customer loyalty to Zebra.The purpose of this internship is to prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization. The program is designed to provide you with a full experience so that you can fully envision a career with Zebra. You will be positioned for success with training, exposure to all parts of the business, social activities, a professional mentor relationship and development sessions to help you discover your own performance edge!Must be able to work in our Lincolnshire, IL location. Willing to travel locally to customers.
Responsibilities

- Participate with Sr. SE mentor in day-to-day engagement with a key Zebra customer –
- See firsthand the life of an SE and how we serve and support our customers
- Learn how customers engage with us and use Zebra solutions with hands-on experience.
- Assist Account SE on specific projects, to be determined at time of internship
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering
- Must have an anticipated graduation date between December 2024 - May 2025
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
- Must reside within 50 miles of the primary work location, Lincolnshire, IL
- Customer facing experience
- School/work Technical project experience
- Previous internship experience in a customer facing and technical role
- Ability to work with diverse teams
- Critical thinking skills
- Technology experience such as Android, RFID, LAN/WAN/Cellular
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
- Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow
- Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiences
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
